English is similar to Castilian (Spanish)? Part III

Did you know there are some similarities between English and Spanish? Yes it’s true...let me show you some examples.

Individual: Individual
Public: Público
Director: Director (Directora when is female)
Tutoring: Tutoría
Mathematics: Matemáticas

Interesante...did you know that the Filipino language "Tagalog" has many Spanish words that are revueltas into their language?

And..I have always found a similarity of certain words in the German with English language...

I can think of a few other words too, even though English is in the Germanic family of languages and Spanish is in the Romance family of languages. Not only Tagalog, but if you ever hear Romanian spoken, there is so much similarity of words to Spanish there too. Both are Romance languages.

Language study is a hobby of mine...besides making soap... :)
